Detailed Scan at 20 weeks
Detailed Scan was scheduled on 14 April 2010 at NUH. Hubby was away in Amsterdam and coincidentally for No.1 he was also away in Thailand during the detailed scan. Was telling him I will keep him in suspense on baby's gender! hee hee...
Waited for about 45mins before it was our turn, I was pretty excited to find out the gender. Though if you ask me for my preference I really didn't have any in mind - tot a another girl would be good for Hazel but a boy would be something different for us parents. Sonographer did the scan and detected the heart, spine, legs, hands etc.. Finally scanned the genitals and I could see the little scrotum - aka birdie and sonographer confirmed we're expecting a baby boy.

Preparing for BF - 2nd Time
Breastfeeding(BF) didn't come that easy for me for No.1. Thinking back I was not at all prepared for BF. So for this round decided to be abit more hardworking by reading abit more and at least preparing some essentials to at least make the process more comfortable.
Some stuff which I didn't get the last round which I think would have been useful:
Hopefully I can BF for a longer time at least 6 mths or until I go back to work. Wish me luck! :P

Baby at 12 weeks old
Did an NT scan and Blood test - aka OSCAR at NUH on week 12. All looks well during the abdorminal scan and NT measurement was 1.2mm; baby's CRL was 54.6mm. The results were delivered to our Gynae and within the next week we were told all was fine.
Discovering Baby No.2
Tested positive with the P. Kit on 26 Dec 2009 - a nice Post Christmas present for us. During our first visit at the Gynae's on 2 Jan 2010 this was what we saw, a tiny little sac:
We were told to come back 2 weeks later to check for baby's heartbeat. Anyway not sure if we should even consider this incident a blessing in disguise but on the day of the appointment I had some brown discharge- this really scared us due to a previous not so good experience. Gynae immediately ordered me to admit into the hospital for a 2 day total rest in bed and gave me an injection to stabilise the pregnancy. This is to allow the bleeding to stop by ensuring that I do not move around at all! Luckily we heeded his advise and I stayed put in bed. The discharge stopped the next day and when it was time to go home we did a scan and baby was growing. I was given another 2 weeks MC to rest at home, and what followed this came my first ever taste of morning/evening sickness which would last till end of 1st trimester! Phew...

The scan after I was discharged shows No.2 was growing.
